Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By creating an account or making a donation on Verdant, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

2. The service

Verdant lets you set up a recurring monthly donation and allocate it across categories (climate, health, children, women, education). We then distribute the funds to the charities we've vetted within each category.

3. Your account

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity on your account. You must be 18 or older to subscribe.

4. Donations & billing

• Donations start at $5/month and are billed monthly via Stripe.
• You can change your amount, allocation, or cancel at any time from your dashboard. Changes take effect on your next billing cycle.
• Donations are non-refundable once distributed to charities. Contact us within 7 days if you believe you were charged in error.

5. Fund allocation

We do our best to distribute funds monthly according to your slider settings. A small operational fee may be deducted to cover payment processing and platform costs; the remainder goes to charities.

6. Tax receipts

Tax deductibility depends on your jurisdiction and the recipient charities. Verdant is not a tax advisor — please consult a professional.

7. Acceptable use

Don't use Verdant to launder funds, misrepresent your identity, or interfere with the service. We may suspend accounts that violate these rules.

8. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is". We don't guarantee uninterrupted availability or specific charity outcomes. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Verdant is not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced by email at least 14 days before they take effect.
